Mary Rose Watson, age 80, of Elwood, Nebraska died on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Elwood Care Center in Elwood, Nebraska. She was born on March 2, 1928 at Marlowe, Oklahoma to Eugene & Stashia (O’Donald) Kovar.

She grew up in Oklahoma and Texas. She married James Watson and later divorce. In 1949, she went to school and got her beauticians license. She owned and operated a beauty saloon in Canyon, Texas until the mid 1960’s. She then moved to Jacksonville, Florida and worked as a bookkeeper for Cross Creek Pet Foods. In 1995, she moved to Elwood, Nebraska to be closer to her daughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Danny White, 1 brother, & 1 sister.

Survivors include her daughters Debra & husband Wayne Kelly of Elwood, Nebraska
